Jess' Tator Tot Hotdish

Ingredients
* Ground beef, lean, 16 oz , browned and well drained * frozen Mixed Vegetables, , 1 package (10 oz) THAWED * Cream of Mushroom Soup, 1 can (10.75 oz) (can use light version, does not affect taste) * Cream of Chicken Soup, 1 can (10.75 oz) (this is flexible, if you want to use a another can of mushroom or go with cheddar soup or celery soup, those work well too.) * Pepper, black, 1 tbsp (to taste) * Hash Browns, 3 cup thawed or use almost a whole package of tater tots. I like the rounds myself.
Directions
Thaw frozen vegetables ahead of time or run under warm water in a strainer. If you don't thaw them first, they tend to be crunchier.(canned veggies get too mushy) Brown and strain hamburger. Mix all ingredients together except the tater tots. Pour into a 9X13 pan. Top it with the tater tots or thawed hash browns. Cover pan with aluminum and cook at 350 for about 45 minutes. Take the aluminum off and let cook for another 10-15 minutes, just to brown the tater tots.
