Ground Turkey Stovetop Stroganoff

1 lb extra lean ground turkey1/2 package of noodles (any kind. i used fettucini)1/2 small white onion sliced thin5 cloves of garlic (or less) chopped1 cup fresh mushrooms1/2 cup skim milk (half a can of cream of mushroom)1 can 98% fat free cream of mushroom soup (use low sodium if you can find it)1 tablespoon cayenne pepper (or less)1 tablespoon oregano1/2 tablespoon black pepperabout 2 oz cream cheese - melted (i used this because I didnt have any sour cream on hand)
Serves between 4 and 6
cook noodles according to directions.
fry up the ground turkey, and drain. Add the garlic, onions and mushrooms to the pan, along with drained turkey. Once those start to cook up, add the spices slowly, being sure to stir them in evenly.
Add the melted cream cheese and the soup a little at a time. Once all that is mixed, then add the milk. Simmer for about 10 minutes, but be sure to watch and stir, because the mixture will bubble up.
Once everything is done, serve on top of the noodles!! Presto, easy turkey stroganoff.
