Hawaiian Rice

Ingredients
Water, tap, 56 fl oz White Rice, long grain, 350 grams Onions, raw, 1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Turmeric, ground, .5 tsp *Pineapple, canned, 4 slice or ring (3" dia) with liquid Raisins, 50 grams
Directions
Put stock, rice, chopped onion and turmeric in saucpan, boil and reduce heat, cover and simmer for 12-15mins. Rice should be tender and liquid absorbed.
Add pineapple and currents (sultanas) and heat through before serving.
