Grilled Beer Can Chicken

Ingredients
1 whole fryer chicken 4-5 # 1/2 can Budweiser beer2-4 tsp of Grillmates Chicken rub
Directions
clean chicken, rinse under cold water. remove bag inside chicken cavity.

use 1/2 can of budweiser per chicken

sprinkle chicken with grillmates chicken rub inside and out
put chicken ontop of can and put a potatoe in the neck
put chicken on grill
grill 2-3 hours.

    Ive made this and used a can of pop/soda instead of the beer. I also ran my hands down under the skin so I could sprinkle the rub directly on the meat under the skin to give the chicken meat more flavor. An onion can also be used for stuffing the top of the chicken to retain moisture. - 5/9/08
