Made them for church to rave reviews....AND EASY!!! I have another batch in the oven now, but this time I didn't rinse the beans. Perhaps a bad idea, but you never know..... - 9/12/10

Delicious! I added one egg anyway for fluffiness, but I don't think I needed to! I also added chocolate chips to the top! Yummy! I'm new to eating healthy and adding healthy substitutes, but man! I couldn't even tell! - 7/22/10

Everyone, my husband, workmates or friends has loved these. I do rinse the beans very well. I use organice beans. I add 1 tsp of vanilla, handfull dark chocolate chips and chopped nuts. They are amazing! Fiber and Protein! - 3/25/10

Good recipe. I boiled the beans for a few minutes and then added them back to the can with cold water. I think it made them easier to be mixed in. My husband couldn't tell there were black beans in them. They came out a little flatter and denser than regular brownies, but they are still tasty. - 8/30/09

I used bushes, next time I will rinse well. I like them. They have the same texture as little debbies. I am going to add vanilla and coffee next time. - 12/28/12

I would like to try this recipe since I have heard others say good things about. Can someone please let me know if you use the whole can or if the beans should be rinsed? Thank you! - 7/31/12

Makes rich, fudgey brownies that you absolutely cannot tell contain beans. Yum. - 3/12/12

Super easy to make & very rich chocolate flavor! Satisfies chocolate craving. I used dark chocolate brownie mix and added a little water to thin consistency. Will definitely make again. Might try with dried beans next time. - 1/18/12

I've been using this recipe for a couple of years now. Today, we used it in a nutrition lesson about junk food (everything in moderation and how to make a small change in a recipe to make a big difference) with students age 5-16. They loved them and so did the college student volunteers! - 11/29/11

Why is the fiber so low, you're adding black beans, they should be so high? - 11/20/11

Wonderful! My kids loved them even after they found out the secret ingredient! - 9/30/11

I made these for my family. They were just okay. My eight year old granddaughter said they tasted like brownies. They did but the texture was lacking, flat and dense. I will probably not make these again. - 9/26/11

My family could not tell that there were beans in the brownie mix! The best healthy recipies are the ones that they cant tell are healthy! lol - 9/7/10

I wanted to use up some dry black beans that I had, so I used those instead of canned. The texture takes a little getting used to, but I'll exchange wierd texture for good tasting nutrients anyday =) - 6/15/10

I've made these a few times and they really do work. I've been just pouring the whole can into the blender and buzzing it. I'll try rinsing and filling the can with water next time. Goya beans are quite salty so I usually use a different brand of plain canned black beans. - 11/21/09

I made them for the football team. These were nice and easy to make. Though I am going to have to try the other bean brownies because I would lose 50 calories that way. But this one doesn't have the eggs or oil and that is good so calories or fat, fat or calories. It is nice that it is only 2 ingrd. - 10/2/09

It is a very easy recipe. I added 1/4 cup of water to mashed/pureed black beans. I would not make if I was needing the "real" brownie experience, but it is a good substitute for when I need a sweet treat - 8/19/09
