hot air popper kettle corn
- Number of Servings: 3
Ingredients
Directions
1/2 cup unpopped popcorn1/4 cup corn syrup1/3 cup sugar1/4 cup butter1/2 tsp vanilla1 tsp salt
Pop corn in a hot-air popper (do not use oil, it will be too greasy)
Measure popcorn in a large bowl, removing any unpopped kernels.
In a small saucepan, combine butter, corn syrup and sugar. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
Cook over medium heat 1 minute, continuing to stir gently.
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
Pour syrup and sprinkle salt over popcorn, stirring to coat popcorn evenly.
Let cool slightly before enjoying!
**********I just found this recipe and am about to make it. The recipe actually calls for 1/2 cup of unpopped kernals to be popped into an air popper. I am not sure how many cups that will yield so I am guessing with 3 and then chose 3 servings per batch but I plan to update this once I try it (later on today or tomorrow)**************
