Ingredients
1/2 large onion5 eggs1 T. soy sauce1 tsp. sage1/2 tsp. EACH garlic salt, Spike seasoning3/4 C. walnuts1-1/2 C. oats1/4 C. sunflower seeds
Directions
Blend in a blender: onion / eggs / soy sauce / garlic salt / Spike
Add: walnuts - blend 2 secs.

Mix together in bowl oats & sunflower seeds. Stir in blended mixture. Fry into 7 -8 patties. Serve on whole wheat buns with tomato, alfalfa sprouts & Italian or sub dressing.

    I am so happy to have found this recipe! I used to work at the Nut Tree, but could not remember the recipe after so many years. I remember how good these smelled while grilling! I will be substituting the eggs with 1 T flax seed meal and 3T water per egg (mix together and allow to set). - 6/17/19
