Ingredients
Mix together and set aside:1 cup bran flakes1 cup boiling waterMix together:3/4 cup sugar2 cup buttermilk2 eggsAdd to the buttermilk mixture and mix well:2 1/2 cup whole wheat flour2 1/2 teaspoon baking soda1/4 teaspoon salt1/2 teaspoon cinnamonThen add to buttermilk mixture and mix well:Soaked bran mixture3 cup bran flakes
Directions
Pour into lined or well-greased and floured muffin tins.
Bake at 400 for 15-20 minutes. Makes 24 muffins.
