Ingredients
Directions
1 box multi-grain pasta, usually penne rigate or bow tie.Shrimp, as much as you want to add. I use about 12 oz. cooked.Asparagus, cut into bite size pieces and steamed. I use a bundle.Heavy cream. When you reduce this, the flavor is good so not much is needed. I start with about 12 oz. Parmesan Cheese. Add about 1/2 cup at the end. and toss all ingredients together.
Cook pasta according to instructions.
Put cream in small saucepan and simmer to reduce.
Cut asparagus into 1 inch pieces. Steam in microwave.
Heat shrimp if cooked or saute until done if raw.
When pasta is done, drain and combine all ingredients in bowl.
Add salt and pepper to taste and a sprinkle of fresh grated nutmeg if you have it.
