Basic Brownies with Semisweet Chocolate Chips

2/3 C. All-Purpose Flour1/2 tsp. Baking Powder1/4 tsp. Salt1/3 C. Butter2 squares Baker's Unsweetened Chocolate1 C. Sugar2 Eggs1 tsp. Vanilla Extract6 oz. Semisweet Chocolate Chips
1. Set oven to 350 degrees
2. Grease an 8x8x2 inch pan.
3. Sift flour once, measure, add baking powder and salt, and sift again.
4. Melt butter and Baker's chocolate over hot water (double boiler). Cool slightly.
5. Beat eggs, then add sugar gradually, beating thoroughly.
6. Add chocolate mixture and blend.
7. Add flour and mix well; then mix in vanilla extract.
8. Add semisweet chocolate chips.
9. Spread in greased pan. Bake in pre-heated oven 20-25 minutes, or until done.
10. Cool in pan, then cut into 16 squares (4 x 4 rows).
