World's Best Cookie - Chocolate Chip Pecan Coconut Cookie!

Ingredients
1 cup packed brown sugar 1 cup unsalted butter, softened 1 tablespoon vanilla 2 large egg 2 cups whole wheat flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 cup coarsely chopped pecans 1 bag (12 oz) semisweet chocolate chips (2 cups)1 cup coconut
Directions
1. Heat oven to 375°F.
2. In large bowl, beat sugars, butter, vanilla and egg mix with spoon. Stir in flour and baking soda (dough will be stiff). Stir in nuts, coconut and chocolate chips.
3. On ungreased cookie sheet, drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart.
4. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until light brown (centers will be soft). Cool 1 to 2 minutes; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack

Makes 6 dozen cookies

    Apr. 18/2010 - Delicious! I like that it uses whole wheat flour and brown sugar, not white, and butter, not margarine. I only used 1 cup of chocolate chips and I only got 4 dozen, but they are very tasty! Apr. 21st - added 1/2 cup unsw. applesauce - even better! - 4/18/10

    This recipe is AMAZING. I didn't want to make 6 dozen cookies as suggested in the recipe so I made it but cutting the ingredients in half and it worked fine. I should have made the full recipe because they were gone in no time. - 8/9/16
