Pecan crusted Tilapia

Ingredients
2 cups milk1/8 teaspoon hot sauce1 large egg, lightly beaten3/4 cup all purpose flour1 teaspoon salt1 teaspoon ground red pepper1 teaspoon black pepper1 cup pecan panko (I found at Whole Foods and they have different kinds of panko)4 tilapia filets
Directions
Makes 4 servings
Combine milk and 1/8 teaspoon hot sauce and a beaten egg in a shallow dish. Combine flour, salt, red pepper, and black pepper, mix well. Dredge tilapia in flour mixture, shaking off excess. Dip in egg mixture, then coat with pecan panko.
Put about 2 tablespoons vegetable oil in frying pan. Fry each filet until flakey, about 3 minutes on each side.

    I made this tonight and it turned out great. I didn't have pecan panko so I crushed 1 oz of pecans and mixed them in. The fish didn't have as much seasoning as I usually like so I will probably use some garlic powder and tarragon the next time I make it. Thanks for the great recipe! - 9/8/12
