Shaun's Healthy Low Carb Chili Mac

Ingredients
1 box of Dreamfields Low Carb Macaroni1 26.5 ounce can of Tomato Sauce1 package of 1 pound of 93% lean Ground Beef One 16 ounce can of crushed Tomatoes with green chilies1 large can of sliced Mushrooms2 medium raw Onions1 large Green Pepper 3 tbsps Chili Powder
Directions
1. Cook hamburger until near browning, add onions, mushrooms and green pepper.
2. Drain grease from hamburger mix
3. Sprinkle chili powder over hamburger mix and stir
4. Add tomato sauce and can of crushed tomatoes with green chilies, simmer until warm and bubbling.
5. Cook pasta per box instructions.
6. Mix all ingredients together.

Serves 6 dinner sized portions

    Good recipe except for the Dreamfields--which is way too expensive and nasty after-tasting for my taste buds. Canned Mushrooms are a nice 2nd instead of the Dreamfields. - 1/16/09
