Mustard BBQ Marinade and Sauce

Ingredients
2 tsp minced garlic1/2 tsp salt1 Tbs cracked black pepper1/4 cup coarse-grained mustard2 Tbs soy sauce2 Tbs minced fresh thyme1 tsp lemon zest1/4 cup fresh lemon juice1/2 cup olive oil
Directions
All ingredients must be at room temperature before beginning. In the bowl of a food processor or a mixing bowl with a mixer, process all the ingredients except the oil until combined. With the motor running or the mixer running, very slowly drizzle in the oil. The marinade will thicken. Process for an additional 30 seconds after all the oil is added, then refrigerate until needed.

Dip fish, chicken, or beef in the marinade and cook according to directions.

    I used this as a marinade for chicken I cooked on the grill. My family loved it. My 4 YO son (recently refusing to eat chicken) ate one tender then asked for more, grabbing the biggest one. Later he said to my wife it is your favorite so I saved you some. The piece left was tiny less than 1x1 cm. - 6/7/14
