Baked italian chicken with cheese

Boneless skinless chicken breasts or tenders 1lb4tbsp low fat margarine1 c. non fat milkProgresso italian style breadcrumbs 1/2 cup1 eggMonteray jack cheese (4 oz sliced)1 can mushrooms ( whole)
Cut up chicken into bite size pieces. Pour milk in a bowl and italian breadcrumbs in another bowl. Place margarine in skillet at 250 degrees. After placing chicken in milk, mix through bread crumbs and place in skillet with margarine, Brown both sides of chicken and then place in a 9x13 baking dish. Slice monteray jack cheese in thin slices and place over top of chicken. Pour the can of mushrooms with water over all, If mushrooms are not desired just place 1/8 inch of water in the bottom of pan to keep the chicken from sticking. Place in oven uncovered x 30-35 minutes at 350.
