I had to increase my rating to 5 out of 5. They are even better once frozen and reheated. Seems to be more flavoursome. - 5/1/10

I was thinking maybe 1 egg white might do the trick, they would be better if they were firmer.

Very tasty! I served them as burgers on buns with a slice of cheese and tomato. Nice light summer supper! One word of caution....don't make these on a Forman type grill like I did, as the l id weight causes the patties to spread out more. Regular grill or skillet should work fine. - 6/23/08

These were great!!!!! I halved the recipe being that it was only me and my hubby. Used two cans of tuna and half of the rest of the ingredients. It made three decent sized burgers. Cooked them slowly over medium heat in the skillet, they held up well. Put cheese on top. Def. a keeper! - 11/14/12

These were soo goood!! I made them with egg first but they were kind of mushy. I took out the egg too and they are still very mushy however they taste amazing. I served them on a toasted piece of bread with mustard and tomato and it was SO YUMMY!!:D - 12/13/11

The taste was pretty good but the texture wasn't. They cooked fine on the outside but the inside was completely mushy. I cooked them longer on low heat and they wouldn't firm up. I even used less egg white. I might use even less next time. And maybe a little less tomato sauce. - 6/20/11

Sorry about the mushiness, some tins of tuna seem to be watery and it's hard to get all the liquid out. These are soft burgers, maybe leave the egg white out completely and use just enough tomato sauce to bind.

so delicious! I used wheatgerm instead of wheat flour and canned tomatoes instead of tomato sauce to save on carbs. I served them broken up on mini cos leaves with extra tomatoes from the can, fresh tomatoes and mozarella cheese. - 4/28/10

Wow! These burgers are great. I HATE tuna but Loved these and they are super easy to make. They make four generous portions so if you're using the smaller type buns you could get five thinner patties. - 3/22/10

We made these into a loaf because it was too moist for burgers and we used salsa and wheat flour instead. It was pretty good. - 11/19/18

Made these for my kids and me today for lunch and we all enjoyed them. I served them on a bun with avocado, cheese, and lettuce. Make sure you drain as much water from the tuna as you can. If you don't, your patties will not hold together. - 9/19/16

I used to make something similar to this without the tomato sauce and without the wheat flour for
my grandmother. She ate them like meat with her meals. She liked them quite well! Have a
Super & Blessed Saturday! P.S. If I made it I would have to put white flour in, since I have no wheat

Amazing! Used 1/3 cup homemade salsa instead of marinara. Used only 1 egg white. Low& slow heat. No doubt I'm making this again! - 4/9/15

These were good but I think you need to bake them a bit before you put them on the grill or in the skillet. - 3/9/13

I did half of the recipe but instead of using marinara sauce and pickled onions or a dill pickle, I just did 1/3rd cup of Salsa. It tasted so amazing, almost like a crab cake! :) I usually am not to keen on fish so if I make these, it will be rarely, but still amazing! :) Thank you! :) - 2/15/13

This recipe was a hit! Everyone, including my 2 youngest children (8 and 9), loved it. I served it with Southwest Cole Slaw and half ears of corn on the cob. The meal together was amazing! - 7/25/12

If you can't get all of the liquid out of your tuna you might try the tuna in the pouch. It has very little liquid in it. I am definitely going to try these. - 7/17/12
