Unstuffed Cabbage

Ingredients
1 Large head cabbage 1 lb. ground turkey1/4 cup raw rice1/4 tsp. salt1 16 oz can stewed tomatoes1 8 oz. tomato auce1/2 cup vinegar3/4 cup light brown sugar2 tblsp lemon juice1 1/2 cups water
Directions
Cut cabbage in quarters, then cut into chunks. Place cabbage into a 6 quart pot. Then add tomatoes, tomato sauce, vinegar, brown sugar, lemon juice, and water. Cover and cook over medium high heat while you prepare the meat mixture. Mix ground turkey with egg, rice, and salt. Form into meatballs, put meatballs on top of sauce. Cover pot. Lower heat, and simmer very gently for 2 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally. Serves 10 1 cup servings
