turkey and black bean chili

Ingredients
1 tsp canola oil1/2 lb ground turkey2 medium onions, chopped1 clove garlic, diced2 large bell peppers, chopped1 15oz can black beans2 15oz can diced tomatoes1 tbsp cumin powder1 tbsp chili powder1/5 tsp red pepper flake (more or less to taste)2 oz shredded monterey-jack cheese to garnish
Directions
Sautee diced garlic and chopped onion and green pepper in canola oil over medium heat till the onions are translucent. Add ground turkey. Sautee till the meat is mostly cooked, stirring to break apart the meat into small pieces. Add tomatoes, beans, and spices. Reduce heat and simmer for 30-40 minutes. Serve with 1/2 oz shredded monterey cheese on top.
