2 cups flour2tbsp. sugar1tbsp baking powder1/4 tsp salt1/2 cup butter1 egg2/3 cups 10% cream
Makes 12 scones
Preheat oven to 425
in mixing bowl, add flour, salt, baking powder,sugar.
Mix well using your hands.
Make a well in middle of flour
Grate refrigerated butter into flour mixture
Mix egg and cream together
Pour into well in flour, saving a small amount for brushing on top of scones
Mix well and empty onto floured board.
Roll out so as to cut 12 scones
Place on cookie sheat and bake10min
cool on rack
