Wheat bran quick bread with raisins and walnuts

Ingredients
1/2 cup unbleached white flour1 cup whole wheat flour1 cup wheat bran3/4 cup brown sugar1 tsp baking powder1/2 tsp baking soda1/2 tsp salt1/2 cup walnuts, chopped1 cup dried cranberries (or other dried fruit)1 egg1/2 cup milk1 cup orange juice1/3 cup oil
Directions
Preheat oven to 350. In a large bowl, mix together the egg, milk, orange juice and oil. In a separate bowl, combine flours, bran, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, walnuts and raisins (or other dried fruit). Add dry mixture into wet and mix until just combined. Pour into a greased 9x5x3 loaf pan. Bake for 55-60 minutes, or until the bread is firm in the center. Cool in pan for 10 minutes, remove to rack and cool before slicing. Makes 1 loaf.
