Eddie's Easy Beef Stew

Ingredients
Beef chuck, arm pot roast, 8 oz Potato, raw, 2 large (3" to 4-1/4" dia.) Carrots, raw, 10 medium Onions, raw, 1 large Tomato Sauce, .5 cup Hunt's Ketchup, 3 tbsp Honey, 2 tbsp Curry powder, 2 tbsp Chili powder, 1 tbsp Mixed Vegetables, frozen, .5 package (10 oz) Soy sauce (shoyu), low sodium, 2 tbsp Pepper, black, 1 dash Allspice, 1 grams Oregano, ground, 1 grams Olive oil, 1 tbspWater, 6 cups
Directions
Brown beef in olive oil in medium skillet. Combine in large saucepan with all other ingredients. Stew until veggies are softened but still firm.

    I was expecting a traditional beef stew, but this one has a strong curry flavor; I would cut back on the curry next time. I added minced garlic to the beef as it browned. I also used baby carrots, corn, and green beans as my vegetables. Thanks for the recipe! - 12/7/09
