Green Smoothie - avocado, banana, apple, spinach, lemon

2 medium granny smith1 ripe banana1 cup fresh spinach1 cup romaine1 avocado1 lemon, cut up (with or with skin)1 TBS ground flax seed1.5 cups water
Directions
Mix all ingredients in blender. Can add/substitute ice for water for thicker smoothie

    This was an ok smoothie. It was very creamy, but I wouldn't say it tasted "good" to me. I didn't have romaine, so used two cups of spinach and I didn't have a lemon, so used a small orange and some lemon juice.

    Fabulous! I didn't have any flax seed or romaine on hand so I skipped that. I added some protein powder to increase that number. It was very good and I'll be using it for my breakfast whenever I'm tired of my berry smoothie! - 9/27/10
