Ingredients
1 cup flour3/4 tsp baking powder1/2 tsp salt1 tsp vegetable oil1/2 cup warm water
Directions
Mix dry ingredients then gradually add wet ingredients to make a moist but manageable dough. Knead together.
Divide into 5 pieces for 8" tortillas, 6 pieces for 6". Roll between your palms until each piece is shaped like a ball.
Set on a plate and cover with a moist dish towel. Let rest for anywhere from 20 mins to 2 hours.
Sprinkle flour on a cutting board and rolling pin. Roll each ball out to paper-thinness.
Heat a solid, heavy pan to high heat. Place one tortilla at a time on the pan.
When the tortilla begins to bubble, flip with tongs. Cook until faintly browned on the pan-side.
Serve warm!
Freeze or refridgerate, wrapped in plastic.

Good! Fairly easy to make. I have altered and used unbleached flour instead of white. It would be nice if recipe page showed that you actually use ww flour and white flour in their proportions. - 7/16/15

To cook the tortilla, do you need to use oil on the pan or not???? - 5/2/10

I've never needed oil for the pan. Just get it -extremely- hot (and be careful!) and lay the tortilla down. It cooks so quickly that you shouldn't need even cooking spray to make it work right. Enjoy!
