Ingredients
Directions
1/4 cup canola oil1/2 cup unpopped popcorn1/4 cup sugar1 tsp popcorn salt
Put oil and unpopped corn into a heavy stock pot. Cover with a lid.
When you hear the first kernel pop, sprinkle the sugar over the unpopped kernels. Shake the pan vigorously to keep the sugar from burning. I usually hold it above the burner a little at the end of the popping and keep shaking it.
Pour the popcorn into a bowl and sprink the salt a little at a time while you break up the popcorn (beware, it will be a little hot!)
