Dr. Ben Kim's Tomato Chickpea Soup

Ingredients
16 oz chickpeas14.5 oz diced tomatoes4 ribs celery1 yellow onion2 t minced garlic1.5 T olive oil2.5 c chicken (or veggie) brothbasilpepper
Directions
Chop celery and onion, saute with garlic over low-medium until fragrant. Add rinsed & drained chickpeas, tomatoes (with juice), and broth. Bring to a boil, cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes. Add basil or pepper to taste.

Divide into 6 servings.
