Rice Pudding

Ingredients
2 cups milkhalf cup sugar1/2 cup riceteaspoon vanilla1/2 tsp. nutmeg cinnamon to taste
Directions
Boil rice, and when water is absorbed, add milk, sugar, butter. Cook an hour and a half or so, til creamy, add in flavorings and serve warm!
makes about 4 0.5-cup servings.

    I tried this and the milk mixture didnt absorb into the rice! The saecond batch I made I boild the rice in the milk along with other ingrediant's and it turned out fine!I would suggest skip boiling the rice in water and just boil it in the milk mixture so it will soak up the milk mixture instead. - 3/26/10
