Orange oatmeal

Ingredients
For the "heart healthy" serving size:*3/4 cup water*1/2 cup OJ (I used Tropicana calcium and Vitamin D)*3/4 cup Quaker old fashioned oats
Directions
1) Measure out OJ and water; pour into a small saucepan. Add a pinch of salt, if desired. Bring to boil. Watch carefully, the OJ boils at a lower temp!

2) Add oatmeal to the pot. Simmer on medium low for approx 5 minutes, or until oatmeal reaches your preferred consistency.

3) Remove from heat and enjoy! You can also add a bit of cinnamon for another added twist :)

    I love orange oatmeal. I add the cinnamon too but use entirerly orange juice for the liquid and use steel cut oats so it cooks longer. - 3/31/13
