Olive Oil, 2 tbsp Carrots, raw, 4 medium peeled and slicedPotato ( 4 potato (2-1/3" x 4-3/4") peeled and cubedOnions, raw, 1 large choppedBeef, tip round, 1.7 lb cubed into bite size pieces. (stew beef)Beef broth, 2 cup *Flour, white, .25 cup Red Wine, 8 fl oz Beef stew dry seasoning mix 1 packet
Makes 10 one cup servings
Put oil in a dutch oven and heat
Coat beef in flour
Add beef to pan and cook till browned.
Once browned add red wine,beef broth and seasoning to pot. Bring to a boil.
Once boiling reduce to simmer and cover. Simmer for 1.5 hours.
Add vegetables cook for 45 minutes.
