Slow cooker Chili con carne

Ingredients
Chili powder, 1 tbspCumin seed, 1 tsp Pepper, black, 1/2 tsp Dried basil, 1 tspSalt, 1 tsp Garlic, 2 clove , minced fineOnions, raw, 2 medium , coarsely choppedGreen Peppers (bell ) peppers), 0.75 cup, chopped Tomato Sauce, 1 cup (8 oz)Ground beef, extra lean, browned and drained 1-1 1/2 lbs(16 oz)Beans, red kidney, 2 cup (16 oz)Beans, pinto, 2 cup (16 oz)Hunts diced tomatoes, 28 oz Heinz pork & molasses beans, 1 canMushrooms, canned, 1 can
Directions
Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker.
Cover. Cook on Low 8-12 hrs or High 5-6hrs
~ or cook on stove top for about 1-2 hrs

Variations:
-add 1 tbs brown sugar to mixture before cooking
-replace 1lb of beef with 1 lb of beans

*** each serving is about 1 cup
