Blackberry Scones

Ingredients
3 Cups all purpose flour1/3 cup sugar2 1/2 tsp baking powder1/2 tsp baking soda3/4 cup butterPinch of cinnamon and nutmeg1 cup buttermilk (can use lowfat)1 cup fresh blackberries(I added 1/2 cup white chocolate chips)
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Combine all dry ingrediants in a large bowl. Cut in butter. Before you add the berries, mix in the buttermilk. Add berries, knead to form 3-4 inch ball. Place on lightly greased cookie sheet and flatten slightly. Bake 15-20 minutes. Remove to racks to cool. Best served warm. Makes 1 dozen.
