Tomato jam

Ingredients

1.5 Kg ripe tomatoes1 Kg granulated sugar1 cinnamon stick
Put tomatoes in a pot of boiling water, keep it in for a few seconds and when the skin comes lose, take tomatoes out of the pot.
Rinse them in cold water and peel them.
Cut tomatoes in half and squeeze to remove seeds and water.
In a pot put tomatoes, sugar and cinnamon stick, cook for 1 hour in medium heat, mixing ounce in a while.
After 1 hour remove cinnamon stick and if tomatoes are to big use hand blender for couple of seconds.
Cook for another 10 minutes mixing all the time or until desired consistency. Good spread for toast.
Makes 3 cups
