Love this snack!! After I rolled the balls, I tossed them in a baggie with a couple spoonfuls of dry oats -- they picked up a little oat flavor (bringing them 1 step closer to oatmeal raisin cookies) and the oat "dust" took away the stickiness completely. - 12/1/10

First off, follow the directions! I figured the "rinse w/water" part was to rid almonds of possible salt. Wrong! I added several drops of water and corrected the problem. I made these with orange flavored Craisins and used my small ice cream scoop to portion them out and then rolled them tight. - 6/14/10

Really awesome recipe, I took tips from a few reviews and added 2 tbsp peanut butter 1/4 cup instant oatmeal and 1 tbsp. dark choc chips. Came out like an awesome granola bar/no bake cookie! :) - 11/15/10

Really very good! Densely packed with nutrients. For increased flavor and texture I added a few tablespoons *organic/natural peanut butter* - my toddlers loved it! I think with the increased stickiness I can add some oats too, next time... - 6/14/10

Awesome! My kids gobbled these right up! Best part is they are raw and sans processed junk and refined sugar. And the raisins make them cheaper than using dates. Yummy! - 6/9/10

these were good but I usually like my snacks to have around 100 calories. added some oatmeal and dark chocolate and cut back some on the raisins and almonds - 9/12/10

Mine came out a little too sticky so I rolled them in shredded coconut. Yum. - 12/18/10

So easy to make -- very tasty and very nutritious. There's room for ingredient substitutions (for example, different varieties of dried fruit or nuts) to fit personal flavor preferences. I always have a batch made and waiting in the fridge for when I want a quick snack. - 6/14/10

This made about 20 quarter sized balls. My husband has already asked for them again when the first batch ran out. - 6/22/10

This is a great recipe for duplicating a "larabar" type snack. You can mix it up in so many different ways. I made the above recipe with some dark chocolate chips mixed in for my husband. Very satisfying. - 6/14/10

Excellent. Advise to soak your raisins first. Made a little oops by thinking I could use my hand processor, took on and off all day to make. Did work out in the end. Next time I will lug out my big old fashioned food processor and just double or triple the batch and freeze them. Love them. Thanks - 12/23/10

These are surprisingly delicious and addicting. I was craving chewy, crunchy, sweet and that's what I got. I add dried pomegrantes and a few apricots rather than raisins. Yummy and simple to make! I just used my small chopper instead of dragging out the big blender and it worked fine. - 6/29/10

Quick, easy, and tasty! I used raisins, raw almonds, raw pumpkin seeds, raw sunflower seeds, cinnamon, and carob powder. My whole family loves it! I bet it'd be good in a fruit and yogurt parfait :) - 9/7/10

Interesting! Who would've thought! When I first saw this recipe I was thinking, ok maybe some Smart Balance butter, baking etc...I was pleasantly surprised to see 3 ingredients and 1 appliance! Awesome! - 6/10/10

This is a fantastic recipe. I used goji berries & mulberries instead of raisins and took a few with me while I ran my Half Marathon. MUCH better than gels!!! - 9/13/10

this looks super and I am gonna make it; I can IMAGINE what it tastes like; wondering about mixing in some almond flavoring, and to counter additional stickiness, some ground up shredded wheat cereal, or grapenuts....even oats; I would toast em first. - 6/2/10
