Quick Shrimp

Ingredients
1/2 pat of butter 2 tsp garlic, grated8 large shrimp, peeled and de-veined. dash of sea salt/cracked pepperlemon juice (just enough from one wedge of lemon)balsamic vinegar, 2 TBSPwhite wine, 1 fl. oz (this can be optional, but it really does add a little something)serving of spinach pasta (or whole wheat.)
Directions
prepare pasta as directed on package.

meanwhile,

brown butter in frying pan.
add shrimp, tossing so it coats in butter.
add garlic, moving around the pan..
let sizzle in its goodness for 2 minutes.
add salt/pepper, and squeeze of lemon.
pour balsamic vinegar over shrimp, again moving pan around so everything is combined nice and evenly.
finally, drizzle the white wine over (if using), stir to incorporate, and turn off heat.

arrange pasta on plate, scoop shrimp out of pan and onto pile of warm pasta (one always manages to pop into my mouth before it makes it that far.... Chef's rules), pour remainder jus over pasta.

Enjoy (with a glass of wine...?)
