Ingredients
1 chicken breast, no skin1 tsp pepper, black1 cup sweet peppers or hot peppers1 small onion, chopped1 cup whole mushrooms, or sliced1 cup chicken broth, fat free
Directions
Place all ingredients in a slow cooker.
Cook until done, cooking time will be different for each slow cooker; takes 4 to 6 hours.

    There was so much Juice at the end of the cooking period. I used orange peppers. It is very tasty but the chicken is boiled. - 5/29/08

    I didn't really care for the "boiled" chicken--I think the next time I try this I'll have to lightly brown the chicken first or something. The broth was very flavorful--I added one small serrano pepper for spice. - 3/17/08
