Ingredients
1 packet Ball No Cook Freezer Jam Fruit Pectin or Instant Fruit Pectin1 1/2 cups granulated sugar4 cups crushed fresh strawberries
Directions
Wash and hull strawberries, then gently crush with a potato masher in a 9x13 baking dish.

In a dry, large mixing bowl, stir together packet of pectin and sugar until well blended. Stir in crushed strawberries. Stir for 3 minutes more. Ladle or spoon into 8 oz freezer-safe jars, leaving 1/2-3/4" headspace. Let stand at room temperature for 30 minutes or until thickened. Refrigerate for up to 3 weeks or freeze for up to 1 year.

The package says you get 5 8-oz jars but I got 6 out of it. The serving size I used was 1 tbsp of finished jam.

It couldn't be any easier, and I love that you don't have to cook it. I am going to try it with blackberries next. I think for those I will need to add lemon juice, though, according to other jam recipes I have seen. - 7/11/15

I like the look of this. Might it work with frozen berries? I'm wondering about frozen raspberries. - 8/5/11

I make a simple cooked jam by cooking and mashing the berries...then adding the sweetener. I make just what I think I will need for the next few weeks. It is good on ice cream too..but don't do that too often :) - 7/6/10
