Ingredients
2/3 cup whole wheat spaghetti 5 oz shrimp, cooked1 cup red peppers, sliced1 tsp black pepper2 cloves fresh garlic, thinly sliced3 leaves fresh basil1 tsp olive oil2 tbsp dry white wine
Directions
Cook spaghetti al dente.
Saute pepper and garlic in white wine (or substitute with 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar) over medium heat until barely soft, lower heat, add shrimp and saute until done.
Salt (very little) to taste.
Pour sauce over spaghetti, sprinkle with coarsely ground black pepper, drizzle with olive oil, and arrange the basil leaves on top.
