Whole Wheat Tortillas

Ingredients
3 cups whole wheat flour1 tsp. baking powder1 tsp. salt6 tbsp. Crisco shortening1 1/4 cups water
Directions
Makes 12 servings:
Mix dry ingredients in bowl, and cut in shortening. Stir water into mix, and turn out onto lightly floured surface. Knead for a few minutes, divide into 12 balls, and let rest for approximately 10 minutes. Roll balls into thin circles, dusting with flour as needed. Cook on tortilla cooker, or spray large non-stick frying pan with cooking spray and cook until small brown spots appear. Flip tortilla and repeat. Place on floured towel to cool, then store in a ziploc bag in a cool place.
