3 CUPS SUGAR1 CUP SHORTENING4 EGGS, BEATEN4 CUPS SKIM MILK2 CUPS BOILING WATER2 CUPS RAISIN BRAN CEREAL (OR 100% BRAN CEREAL)4 CUPS ALL BRAN CEREAL5 CUPS FLOUR5 TSP. BAKING SODA2 TSP. SALT1 CUP RAISINS(OPTIONAL)2 TBSP CINNAMON(OPTIONAL)
Directions
MIX TOGETHER THE SUGAR, SHORTENING AND EGGS.
POUR BOILING WATER OVER 2 CUPS OF RAISIN BRAN (OR 100% BRAN ) CEREAL. LET COOL BY ADDING 4 CUPS SKIM MILK.
ADD 4 CUPS ALL BRAN CEREAL WITH ALL OF THE ABOVE. ADD DRY INGREDIENTS, FOLD IN ONLY UNTIL ALL INGREDIENTS ARE MOIST. ADD RAISINS AND CINNAMON IF YOU CHOOSE.
PRE HEAT OVEN TO 400
REGULAR SIZE MUFFINS -15 MINUTES
LARGE SIZE MUFFINS - 20 MINUTES
