Chewy Craisin Almond Granola Bars

3 c Kashi GO LEAN cereal1 c old fashioned oats1 c whole wheat flour1 tsp baking soda2/3 c craisins2/3 c dry roasted almonds (whole or coarsely chopped)2/3 c butter, melted1 tsp vanilla extract2/3 c honey
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
In a large bowl, combine cereal, oats, flour, baking soda, craisins, and almonds. In a separate bowl, combine butter, vanilla extract, and honey. Pour honey mixture into the dry mixture and mix until evenly coated.
Coat a 9x13 pan with cooking spray. Spread mixture onto pan evenly, pressing down on the mixture. Bake in the oven for 9-11 minutes, press down mixture, and bake for another 9-11 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before cutting into bars. Let bars cool completely before removing or serving.
If the bars are crumbly, wrap them and put them in the freezer until hardened. You can also store them in the freezer as well.
Makes 12 bars.
