Clean Spiced Apple Steel Cut Oats (slow cooker)

Ingredients
2 cups Steel Cut Oats8 Cups Water3 Granny Smith Apples Peeled, cored and diced1 tsp Cinnamon1/4 tsp Ground Cloves1/4 tsp Nutmeg 1/4 cup Sucant (organic whole cane sugar)
Directions
add all ingredients to slow cooker on low and cook overnight. (6 to 8 hours) Makes 6 1/2 cup servings.

Scramble up 2 egg whites and one whole egg and you have yourself a power breakfast. (or your own favorite protein)

    Thank you for sharing this - I made this last night and am enjoying it this morning - I used pumpkin pie spice and skipped the Sucant as I am diabetic, but totally enjoying it this morning - 4/12/14
