Tomatoe Sauce with Turkey

2 tbs olive oil1 lb ground turkey1 large Spanish onion, finely chopped1 red bell pepper, cored,seeded and chopped1 can (28oz) crushed tomaotes1 can (28oz) diced tomatoes1 can (15oz) tomatoe sauce1 can (6oz) tomatoe paste1 tsp sugar2 tbp each dried basil and oreganosalt and pepper to taste
In a large pot or dutchoven, heat the oil. Add onion and red pepper- cook over medium heat, stirring often, for 15 minutes or until veges are soft. Add ground turkey and saute until turkey is cooked, 10 minutes. Drain and return to the pot.
Add the canned tomatoe products, sugar, basil, oregano, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil.
Turn heat to low and cook sauce stirring often for 1 hour or until it thickens.
Taste for seasoning, add more basil and oregano to taste.
Serve over spagetti, sprinkled with parmesan cheese.
FREEZES ANY LEFTOVERS.
