VERSITILE... We alos cut the calories by eating this in high-fibre pita pockets. I treated this as a stir-fry - sauted the meat as instructed, added the vegetables for 5 minutes longer and I then halved the broth and cornstarch amounts, leaving everything else the same. It had lots of 'kick' - YUM! - 1/22/08

We really liked this recipe. We added some mushrooms and sweet red pepper. I think I would add fresh ginger instead of ground. I would also add some water chestnuts to add more texture. Very good recipe! - 1/18/09

I made this last night but added mushrooms to the mix. It was very good. I also added a few pepper flakes to heat it up just a bit. My husband also like it and he is a picky eater! - 2/2/08

Excellent!! I didn't have corn starch so I substituted whole wheat flour and it was delicious. I will definitely be making again. - 1/27/08

Very good basic recipe. It leaves the "door" open to add your own touches, but is great without changes. - 3/20/09

Always liked this combination. It helps if you partially freeze the meat before slicing. You will see this very helpful. - 7/9/09

Loved this recipe, it was very easy. Since my Hubby's system doesn't agree w/Broccoli I made it with Carrots and steamed my broccoli on the side. Then I got to have this for lunch the next two days. I added some Toasted seasame seeds at the end, which added great flavor too. - 3/25/09

I was very impressed with this dish. It was just as good if not better then most beef and broccoli you would find in a restaurant. We will be making this again in the near future. - 1/28/10

Great basic recipe and I took some of the suggestions and added mushrooms, water chestnuts, and peppers. Used shredded left over roast beef that was very tender and it worked. Will definitely use this recipe again and will try a chicken variation. Thanks for sharing! - 8/20/09

Any recipe that can get my family (husband, son 15 & daughter 2) to eat broccoli gets my thumbs up. Thanx for a gr8 recipe - 1/4/09

I loved the ginger in it. I am excited to make it again. I am going to cut the meat up thinner or get a thinner steak. I loved it and I will make it again. - 6/18/08

We enjoyed this, but would have liked a little more flavor - maybe add some red pepper flakes to give it some spice. - 1/21/10
