Slow Cooker Italian Beef for Sandwiches

Ingredients
3 cups water1 tsp salt1 tsp ground black pepper1 tsp dried oregano1 tsp dried basil1 tsp onion powder1 tsp dried parsley1 tsp garlic powder1 bay leaf1 (0.7 oz) pkg dry Italian-style salad dressing mix1 (5 lb) rump roast
Directions
Makes 16.5 servings of 4 oz. each
1. Combine water with all ingredients except for rump roast. Stir well and bring to a boil.
2. Place roast in slow cooker, and pour salad dressing mixture over the meat.
3. Cover; cook on low for 10-12 hours, or on High for 4-5 hours. When done, remove bay leaf, and shred meat with a fork (it should be tender enough to do so easily).
