Is the chicken cooked or uncooked when you put it into the pot? - 1/18/11

I use less pepper, but it is absolutely delicious! And for those knocking on the amount of pepper it does say "(or to taste)". My dad generally uses more because he used to smoke and he needs it to add more flavor, so there are reasons out there for using more. I think this recipe is fantastic! - 10/18/10

Awful. Just awful. The pepper was so overwhelming, I had to toss out the whole pot of food. The dumpling flavor was good, but the pepper just killed it. 1/2 teaspoon of pepper Maximum. Also, make sure the veggies are very finely diced, or it makes for an odd consistency. - 9/20/10

This was great and peaty good. I didn't have the carrots, potato, and onion so I left them out. A little too much pepper. But defiantly a must keep. - 8/9/10

Do the bisquick heartsmart dumplings taste sweet? I never used it for dumplings because of the sugar. I make this kind of thing a lot, love it.

I don't think they taste sweet, but you can always substitute with something that contains no sugar at all. Hope you like it!
