Directions
Cut the meat and place over fire. Let meat heat through. Then add the tomato paste, add 1/4 teaspoon of salt plus 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper. Leave on fire until water boils. Then add 5 tablespoons of natural peanut butter. Let heat through until it becomes thick. Add one liter of water. Then add diced onion, garlic, maggi, dried onion, dried fish, bay leaf, and red pepper. Let heat through until it starts to boil, then add spinach (use food processor to cut in fine pieces), and all of the okra (cut in small pieces). Leave on fire until it becomes thick and then add palm oil. Leave another 5 to 10 minutes on the fire.

Serve over rice or as I do substitute lentils for the rice. This makes 10, 3/4 cup servings.

*there is one other ingredient called soumala. It is made from the fruit of the Nere tree. I cannot find the literal translation. I do not know how many calories are in it, but I imagine it's not too many. They normally put one 1/2 inch piece of this in the sauce after pounding it.
