Ingredients
Salad greens (spinach, red cabbage, leaf or romaine lettuce)8-10 mushrooms1 generous handful snap peas1 or 2 medium carrots1 pepper
Directions
Look, it's salad. Wash everything thoroughly in warm water, pat dry. Use your hands to tear lettuce (not a knife). Slice mushrooms, peppers coarsely. Use snap peas whole, or cut in half if desired. Slice or grate carrots.

A salad secret: don't overload on "just" greens. Look for about 1/3 to 1/2 of the volume of the salad to be non-leaf veggies.

Do variations. You know how. I made this recipe because I was tired of putting in every ingredient separately for my salad food entry.

Sprinkle some spices: oregano, basil, chili powder, or your favorite.

Balsamic vinegar adds practically no calories, as a dressing. Or, apply whatever you prefer.
