Nacho Chicken Casserole

4 cups cooked cubed chicken1 pound American cheese, cubed2 (10 oz.) cans cream of chicken soup1 (10 oz.) can diced tomatoes with green chilies (drained) - Rotel1/2 teaspoon garlic powder1/4 teaspoon pepper1 (14 oz.) package tortilla chips, divided
In a large mixing bowl, combine cooked chicken, American cheese cubes, cream of chicken soup, Rotel, garlic powder and pepper. Toss together to combine. Crush tortilla chips and stir chips into mixture, reserving 1 cup for topping. Transfer mixture to a greased 9x13" baking dish. Top with reserved crushed chips. Cover and freeze.
Thaw in refrigerator or microwave. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Cover and bake for 30 minutes. Remove cover and bake an additional 15 minutes.
