Bulgarian Spinach Soup

Ingredients
Saute onion in the butter until transparent, then add carrots (chopped) and spices. Meanwhile, boil the water in a kettle. Add thawed spinach, then cover with hot water. Dice tomatoes and add to pot, along with rice. Cover and cook until rice is done (about 35 minutes). Beat egg, then beat in flour and then yogurt. Put in a separate pan, at medium heat, with about a quarter cup of hot soup. Stir constantly until it boils, then add slowly to the soup pot, stirring.Eat it up!
Directions
Makes 6 generous bowls of soup (2 cups).
