Black Bean Oatmeal Burgers (Vegan and Gluten Free)

1 15 ounce can black beans, drained and rinsed1 14.5 ounce can diced tomatoes, drained1 cup fresh cilantro of parsley leaves1 garlic clove, minced1 teaspoon ground cumin1/2 teaspoon salt2 green onions2/3 cup chopped carrots1.75 cups rolled oats (gluten free or regular)
1. Preheat oven to 400 F. Line a baking sheet with cooking parchment and brush parchment with a bit of oil.
2. Process the first 8 ingredients until blended. Transfer to a bowl and mix in the oats.
3. Form into 9 patties and place on baking sheet. Bake for 10-15 minutes until firm to the touch. Carefully turn patties over and place uner the broiler for 1 - 2 minutes until browned.
