Cherry Chocolate Muffins

Ingredients
1 cup cherries, fresh, frozen or canned1/3 cup dark or semi-sweet chocolate chips2/3 cup whole wheat flour1/3 cup Fibre One flour (made by grinding Fibre One Cereal in the food processor until it becomes the consistency of flour)1/3 cup oat bran3/4 cup sugar, preferably organic cane 1 large egg2 egg whites1/2 cup fat free greek yogurt1/2 cup skim or 1% milk3 tbsp. canola oil (could substitute coconut oil or other healthy oil)1 scoop whey protein1 tsp. baking soda1 1/2 tsp baking powder1/4 tsp. salt
Directions
Combine all the wet ingredients, add the dry and beat until combined well. Fold in the cherries and chocolate chips, put in greased muffin tins (or line with paper cups) and bake at 350F for 20-25 min. or until lightly browned.
